The lilac tree is just coming into bloom in Dad's garden. It started life in our old house and was moved, as a twig, to its present site over 40 years ago. It used to be a bush, but is now a tree. Dad regularly hacks bits off of it that get in his way, but it is very forgiving and blooms every year.Monday, 20 April 2009
