Shrove Tuesday today, so it has to be pancakes. I went round my local shops yesterday to buy the ingredients. I live on my own and don't do baking anymore so don't keep a supply of flour or eggs. I thought I might buy one of those packets of mix, but you still need to buy eggs, and I don't eat eggs and would have had to buy six, so I went into Sainsbury's and got these ready- made ones. You can just heat them in the microwave, but I think I will still put them in a pan so I can do a little bit of tossing!Tuesday 24 February 2009
